Nowhere Girl Vlogs | Zomato June FMU

Last June, I was blessed to be invited to three Zomato foodie meet up. First, was at Coffee Book Cafe in Congressional, and just a few minutes away, at Pitstop Food Park. I was also invited at the best steakhouse in Ortigas: 22 Prime in Discovery Suites. You might already have read about them here in my blog, I just wanted to make a video about them. Bear with me please, I’m new at this vlog thing and I enjoy making videos. Yes, I need a better hobby but for now here’s the FMU montage (or something):

Nowhere Girl Vlogs | Climbing Mt. Paliparan, Tanay, Rizal

Last June 24th, my work friends and I trekked Mt. Paliparan. We’ve been planning for it for nearly a month, and to be honest, excited though I was, the thought of trekking again after over a year of no rigorous physical activity frightened me. Nonetheless, it was an incomparable and unforgettable experience which I am grateful to have been a part of. To be even more honest, this was the first mountain I reached the peak of. My previous hikes and treks were all side-trips to waterfalls and though there was a waterfall at the end of this particular trail, still I deem it different and much more exhilarating than…

    22 Prime, Discovery Suites

22 Prime is the perfect place to take one’s significant other on a special date night or anniversary. It is also the right place to seal business deals or enjoy a brunch with one’s family on a Sunday morning. Located on the 22nd floor of Discovery Suites in Ortigas Center, 22 Prime is a high-end steakhouse that offers mouth-watering dishes. Here are some of the dishes I’ve tried on my visit: For starters, we were served lobster bisque which is poached lobster in shellfish oil, with tomato herb crouton, and emmental herb brioche. Next was a generous serving of grilled Selva Jumbo Prawns with parsley marble potato and sautéed haricot…

Nowhere Girl Vlogs | May of 2017

Welcome to my second vlog! As you can tell, it’s still short and I’m still trying to get the hang of it. For my second vlog entry, I’ve decided to make a compilation of the highlights of my May. To kick it off, I went to my first ever Zomato Foodie Meet Up with my good friend, Kevin, at Artsy Cafe, Maginhawa. Then my BFF, Kim, celebrated her birthday at my place; we swam, had pizza, and a sleepover. Lastly, I went to see Up Dharma Down play live at 12 Monkey’s, Ortigas with my good friend Aaron and some of our friends from the office.

Nowhere Girl Vlogs | Visiting Jam 88.3

I’ve been meaning to vlog for a very long time but decided against it though I continued to shoot every now and then. Plus, it means another commitment for me to come up with more ideas to feature which is gonna be a real struggle considering I live a pretty boring life. I was also worried about the editing, cause I suck at it more than I suck at producing content but then again everything takes time and practice and I don’t really intend to vlog to gain a wide range of audience. I just basically want to have a visual record of whatever I think is interesting going on in…

    Ban Be Ca Phe, Antipolo

Ban Be Ca Phe is a Vietnamese-Filipino restaurant located at Upper Antipolo. This charming space is just a few meters shy from Robinson’s Antipolo and offers very affordable Vietnamese dishes. The cafe, technically, has three parts: a veranda, and inside a dining area at the right side and a traditional Vietnamese sitting area on the left side, which, in my opinion, gives so much Kumbaya vibes. LOL Kidding aside, I find the interior both creative and unique. I went here last May 27th with my mom to have lunch. I haven’t had breakfast yet when we got there, meaning, I haven’t had my morning fix. So the first thing I ordered is…

    Coffee Book, Congressional Avenue

Coffee Book is located along Congressional Avenue in Quezon City. I went there yesterday with some friends I met at Artsy Cafe. I met some new friends too and had a blast. The cafe’s interiors were more of a restaurant type than the cozy and comfy cafe type that I was expecting. But true to its name, they have two tall built-in shelves filled with books of various genres perfect for bookworms.    Now to the best part: FOOD. Coffee Book serves cakes, cookies, and muffins. They also serve snacks, pasta, and rice meals. As for beverages, they have (of course) coffee served hot or cold / over ice, milkshakes,…
