24 of 30: Wandering

Beneath the stars we lay side by side
We weren’t alone
But you secretly held my hand
I’ve to let go a couple of times
However you’d just keep on
Reaching for it
Until you ended up
Running your hands on my thighs
I shot you a look of warning
Which you only smiled to
You never yielded even if I tell you to
Somehow you never changed
So I let your hand go on wandering

A corporate tough cookie with the soul of a gypsy. Professional bathroom singer. Teacher. Poet. A light-eyed dreamer who nitpicks for a living as she waits for redamancy.
