Mac is a man of surprises and I’m like the total opposite. So when he called me this morning and told me that he’s going somewhere to buy something instead of going straight home, I knew he was up to something. I had this urge to force the secret out of him, and it took me quite a long time to finally let him tell me what he was going to buy until he finally gave in and told me that he’s getting me a Beatles shirt. But when I was handed the huge paper bag that smells an awful lot like him (he sprayed his perfume on it) I was surprised to see four shirts inside.
I honestly couldn’t find the right words to tell him how grateful I am that he decided to get me those shirts. I am a huge Beatles fan and I don’t just love their music and the boys themselves, but also their merchandise. Most of all, I love wearing and using their merchandise. I have this special Beatles mug that Mac bought me from some shop we found while we were walking along somewhere and I use it all the time, especially in the morning. I love drinking coffee from it. I literally squeal to the sight of a Beatles merchandise, and it really breaks my heart if I am not able to buy it immediately, or at all. So you can just imagine my excitement and how enthralled I was (and I still am) when I got hold of the shirts. Here they are, by the way:
In other news, I am now an official tech writer for IowaCityOwl.com, as I have stated in my previous post. And last night I have published my first article. I’m really excited about this new job, but at the same time I feel sort of jittery. I think I’m scared of not being able to produce one good article everyday, but I am really praying that I could do it since I really need this job. I’ll be out of college soon without savings and I really don’t want that to happen as I’ll be needing it after graduation. I am also hoping to keep this job for a long time since it’s practically a dream come true for me and failing in it would really disappoint me. So wish me luck! I need people’s support in this one, because audience is what my articles really need.
That’s all for now, I’ll be working on my next article. Cheerios! 🙂
